Howdy folks,
One of my travel goals is to visit every national park in the United States. I knocked one off the list this morning, Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I didn't even realize that the park existed until a few months ago.
The park has an unusual urban location. It is sandwiched between Akron and Cleveland. One of the stops that I made in the park was at Brandywine Falls.
My other stop was at Tinker Creek Gorge.
After I finished with the national park I had lunch at a Five Guys on the far east side of Cleveland.
After lunch I hit the road and drove to Salamanca, New York. On the way I stopped at a rest area where there was a pretty view of Chautauqua Lake. The lake is just outside Jamestown, New York where Lucille Ball was born.
I am staying at the Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino in Salamanca, New York. Below is the view from my hotel window. That is Interstate 86 out the window.
I got to the hotel around 2:30. I played the slot machines for a couple hours and when I was done I had won a whole dollar. Margaret, you need to teach me how to win thousands like you do. I ended my day with dinner at the buffet restaurant here at the casino.
I will continue my trek east tomorrow. Check your mail boxes tomorrow if you want to know what happens.
