Today I drove 779.7 miles traveling from Gallup, New Mexico to Tulsa, Oklahoma.
I am spending the night at the Hilton Garden Inn in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
I have a standard room with one king bed.

Hello everyone, I had ten more days of travel planned but after five weeks on the road I am getting a bit road weary. I decided last night I would cancel those plans and go directly home. So this morning before sunrise I hopped on Interstate 40 in Gallup, New Mexico and started the journey home. I decided that I would drive as far as I could but had no formal plans. 225 miles into my day I was having trouble staying awake, so I pulled into a rest area and took an hour long nap. Below is where I took my siesta at the Santa Rosa, New Mexico Rest Stop.  Below is me crossing back into Texas as I continued my east bound trek on Interstate 40. This is about 70 west of Amerillio.  260 miles later I passed through Oklahoma City.  I was able to drive over 550 more miles after my morning snooze. I journeyed a total of 787 miles today and am spending the night at a Hilton Garden Inn on the south side of Tulsa, Oklahoma. I just finished my dinner from Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen.  Tomorrow I plan to drive the remaining 623 miles home. Thanks for reading my emails. I hope I didn't bore you to death. Tim |
