FEBRUARY 1996 It was a quick nonstop flight to Orlando, Florida and I was out of the cold Indiana winter and into warm and sunny Florida! One of my first stops was at the new Splendid China. More than 60 miniture replicas of such landmarks as the Forbidden City, Tibet's Potala Palace, the Stone Forest, and the Great Wall (pictured above). Above is a Crocodile at Gatorland. You can tell the difference between an alligator and a crocodile by the shape of the snout, it is pointed on a crocodile. Above is Disney Village. The building to the right of the picture is the hotel where I stayed. I went to Tampa for a couple days. The picture above was taken at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The picture above is St. Petersburg at sunset. The Tampa skyline is pictured above. I spent one day at Disney World. I have been here a couple times before, in fact, I used part of a four-day pass purchased ten years earlier to get in. Pictured above is part of Epcot's World Showcase. Pictured above is Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom. I spent one day at Universal Studios Florida. Pictured above is Norman Bate's place of residence in the film Psycho. Pictured above is the town of Amity. Watch out for frisky sharks! Above is Lake Eola and the Orlando skyline. I spent my last day in Florida at Sea World.
