At the end of the 1956-1957 season of I Love Lucy,
the show's stars decided that they wanted to experiment
with a longer form of program. Over the course of the
next few seasons, all of the I Love Lucy regulars starred
in a number of full-hour specials. In the specials they
traveled to different places and became involved with
various guest stars. Originally aired as The
Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Show.
