At 7:08am on Sunday our ship was successfully docked at Crown Bay in St. Thomas.
The day started with a few peaks of sun but that soon faded as it was a mostly rainy and gloomy day.
The first stop on my tour was Mountain Top, where you get a nice view of Megen's Bay and other islands.

Hello Everyone,

We sailed away from San Juan, Puerto Rico late last night. We did not have far to go. Today we are in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands which is only 80 miles away. Below is the ship docked at Crown Bay in St. Thomas.

Weather wasn't that bad when we arrived but that quickly changed and it rained most of the day. Below is the port area at Crown Bay.

I took a Princess shore excursion of the island. Below is us heading out.

Our first stop was at Mountain Top.

We got a pretty view of Megen's Bay.

The weather limited the view of the other islands.

Below are some tropical plants as we were leaving Mountain Top.

We got a nice view of the capitol city of Charlotte Amalie from a hillside outside of town.

You can see the Crown Princess through the clouds in the picture below.

Below are some pictures of the ship leaving St. Thomas.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2008:

At 6:11am on Monday the local pilot was embarked in an attempt to dock at St. Kitts.
Due to gale force winds Captain Nicolo Binetti and pilot agree to abort the call to St. Kitts.
I spent the day at sea laying in the sun and enjoying the beautiful Crown Princess.

Hello Everyone,

A very disappointing day today. We were supposed to be in St. Kitts, but the Captain said it was too windy to dock the ship so we left. So I spent the day on the ship. Below is the ship's atrium.

As you can see from the pictures below it was a nice sunny day.
